GARDENING CLUB NEWS

At last! The new programme is here for all to see. Sorry it has taken so long to overcome my fear of technology! Thank you to Helen Edwards and Kath Davies for all their help and patience. Jean Carter, Chair

February's meeting saw us all -members, guests and friends - decide upon the content of the schedule for the 2019 Annual Village Show. It is to be held in the Village Hall on Saturday 3rd August. Thanks, in particular, to Jan Jones for all her input of ideas.  It promises to be a good Show. Do join us. The Show is open to everyone who lives in the village, the surrounding area, members and friends of Llandinam Gardening Club. It's a great day!

March's meeting was an excellent evening. We were treated to a a fantastic slide show of photos following the creation and development of 'Cwm Weeg' Garden, Newtown. Dr Schaeffer spoke with inspirational enthusiasm about how he and his partner have developed the garden and house over the years. His sense of humour and passion for 'Cwm Weeg' delighted all who were there. A trip to 'Cwm Weeg' is definitely a possibility for the 2020 programme - we  hope!
